Amazon has many used books that cost very little
Food List:
Pasta: 6 to 8 pounds of a variety
Honey: 5 pounds
Tuna or fish of choice: 10 cans
Recipes:
Pumpkin Honey Bread
3 ½ cups flour
1-teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon nutmeg
4 eggs
1-cup honey
2 cups pumpkin puree
1-teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1-cup olive oil or other
¾ cup sugar
1-cup nutmeats, pecans or walnut if desired
Honey Peanut Butter Balls
½ cup peanut butter
1/3-cup wheat germ
1/3-cup honey
½ cup instant dry milk
Mix all ingredients well and make into balls. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
When substituting honey for sugar in a recipe:
Use the same amount of honey as sugar but reduce your liquid contents by a quarter (instead of 1 cup sugar and 1 cup milk do 1 cup honey and ¾ cup milk)
In making cakes or cookies add ½ teaspoon baking soda for each cup of honey.
In baking lower temperature of your oven by 25 degrees which helps from foods getting burned or to dark when cooking with honey.
Skill:
Remember they’re many women in the ward, area or organization who will help others learn to bake breads, knit or learn a new skill or craft. You only need to ask sometimes. So many mature ladies would love to pass on what they know.

I am down with a pretty bad cold, grandkids shared with me. Dave hasn't caught it yet. Hope it stays that way.
We butchered the turkeys last weekend, so nice to have another thing done. Todd and boys injoyed helping.
