I had to go to town today, it is very good to be home. The whole valley is covered in smoke from forest fires and the smoke has even spread up here to the foothills. Sure makes for a scratchy throat.

This is for two (2) people so buy according to your family’s size.
Non-Food list:
Paper plates something strong for emergencies when washing is impossible
Plastic dinnerware same as above
Paper or metal camping cups (if you are drinking water being metal doesn’t matter)
Food List:
Tuna 10 cans, buy a case if you can & cook with tuna
Mackerel or salmon 6 cans
Dry beans 25 pounds your choice or combination, pinto, navy, black or whatever
Recipes:
Egg Noodles
2 c. flour
½ tsp. salt
4 eggs beaten
Mix salt into flour, then add flour mixture into eggs, knead, Let rest 30 minutes. Roll on floured surface thin and cut in narrow strips. Can dry or freeze or add to soup.
German Spaetzle pasta
2 c. four
½ tsp. salt
2 eggs beaten
1 c. milk
In a bowl combine flour and salt. Mix in eggs & milk, mix well. Let rest 10 minutes, place batter in a coarse sieved colander like for deep fat frying and hold over a large kettle of rapidly boiling water. Press batter through the holes with a large spoon or rubber spatula. Cook & stir 5 minutes.
The lean-to on the right side is mostly all painted yeaaa.
