This is for two (2) people so buy according to your family’s size.

Non-food list:

Box or plastic container for sewing needs
Sewing needles 2 packages assorted
Thread assorted colors, extra of white
Scissors
Seam ripper
Sewing measuring tape
Straight pins long 1 to 2 packs

Food list:

6 cans Vegetable juice & or tomato juice 
8 cans Tomato sauce
8 cans Tomato paste 
2 jars or cans basil dried
Oregano dried 2 jars
Bay leaves optional not everyone uses them


Recipe:

Spaghetti sauce (Six Family)
1-pound hamburger
2-teaspoon onion powder or ¼ c. minced
1-teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove minced
2-teaspoon oregano
2-teaspoon basil
Put in large pot cook meat and above spices, garlic and onion till meat is done, drain off grease, and then add.
 large can tomato or V8 juice
1 8 oz can tomato paste
8 oz tomato sauce
½ c. minced onion or 1 tablespoon onion powder
2 garlic cloves minced or 1-tablespoon garlic powder
1-tablespoon oregano
1-tablespoon sweet basil
1 bay leaf, optional
Bring to boil on med. heat then simmer for 2 hours on low heat, stirring once in awhile. If it needs to thickened leave off or set cover ajar.

Well the roof of the garage is finished, yippeee, one more thing done.

We planted potatoes, beets, carrots, green beans, garlic, zucchini and our grape and tomatoes plants. Looks like the other things we wanted to plant will have to wait for next year.


Dj and his two children came Sunday afternoon and stayed for 2 nights. Dj helped carry some big old windows up to the barn, take down the old shed and a few other things. I sure appreciate him helping out here with things. Thank you son.

Oh our youngest son and his wife won't be moving to Seattle until September :). They are hoping to find a place to rent outside of Seattle where it isn't quite so expensive.

I have been drying some of herbs the last couple of weeks, oregano, spearmint, peppermint, thyme etc.

Washing the truck, did their car first.

Mowing

Shed being taken down, top is caved in, this shed is over 30 yrs old.

Shed metal is to be repurposed.
