Week 40 & Gully washers of rain

It stayed at 38 all afternoon yesterday and rained solid all day coming down in buckets. Going to the chicken coop up hill and coming back down was an adventure. There is around an inch of mud and loose ice on top of frozen ground.

It is almost 6 AM and it may have stopped raining; the wind is howling enough that I can't tell by just listening.
