April Snow/Rain days

Our weather has been going back and forth. Cool, warm, cold, snow, hail, rain and back to snow.

This was yesterday morning again. It had put down an inch overnight, which wasn't bad at all it was all pretty much melted by mid-afternoon. :) Supposed to do this again tomorrow as well. But we have a day off from it today.

Hubby has been fixing, putting back  and etc. from what happened to the yard over the winter and the tractor taking out sod.

I knitted a pair of slippers for something different.

I have been working on family history, sending and receiving old pictures from cousins for hubby's and my side of the family. Really nice.

This is the Allen Horton Foster family hubby's side. Cousin Allen was a farmer and was born 8 April 1838 Hopewell, Bedford, PA. His wife Harriett F. Fuller born in 1847 Mason, Grundy, IL. They married in IL. and raised their family of 8 children all tole.

Blue Skies This Week After Lots of Snow.

This week is supposed to be blue skied and warming. That 2 foot of snow we got last week will melt quickly.

The 5 foot drift behind the garage.
Our creek just west of the house.
This is where our back yard frost free water spigot is.

Knee On The Mend & Pretty Mild Winter So Far :).

 Snowing again today.

Our ice rink of a driveway.

Dh taking grain tot he coop as the tractor keeps sliding on the back hill south of the coop.

We are waiting for our treat.

I made progress today and a goal was met :). I can now get in and out of the bathtub shower by myself. I am allowed to start bending my left knee and have it past 30%. Yippee.

Lots of Snow Then a Warm Up.

12 Jan. 2021 heavy snow putting down several inches through the day and the pouring rain through the night made for a slick day today. Dh plowed wet snow and ice hoping to get down to the driveway, mostly so the sun the next couple of days would hopefully melt it down to the gravel.

I have been doing lots of knitting mostly fingerless mitts and some sewing being still pretty much down and healing from my knee surgery. These are a few.

We're waiting for our treat.
