Warming, Mild February.

So far it has been a mild Feb. We are so glad of that.

This past Wednesday dh had to take grain to the chicken coop and still the easiest way to do that is by sled.

 I now have three weeks to go before I can start bending this with a hopefully healed knee cap.This was a week ago and the swelling is down from this even :).

The kitchen is back together after being in progress since last July. This same flooring went into the bath as well and is finished :) Just some baseboard needs to go on a couple of areas in both now.

Jan. Was: Ice, Snow, Broken Knee cap, Rain, Wind, Snow Etc.

I sure am hoping Feb. goes better than Jan. did lol 

And Happy Valentines Day tomorrow. 

I managed to slip on the ice when I was out with the dogs on Jan. 23 and broke my left knee cap in half.

I have had surgery and it is wired back together but that has meant being in a brace and not bending the knee for 6 weeks. I am now down to 4 1/2 :) to go.

Because of this accident Dave has had to postpone his right hip replacement until 1 April :(

Also in Jan. some folks were up in our area riding their 4-wheelers or snow mobiles and decided to turn around in our driveway and backed into the east post that holds that side of the gate. Now will have to be replaced or fixed somehow as it is leaning halfway to the ground :(. We sure didn't need something else to do.

This last Monday Dave got the fake wood floating flooring laid in the kitchen. There is only a small area to finish in it and about a half of the bath room to go.

I am happy to say the stove and kitchen dresser/buffet now again reside in the kitchen instead of the dining room.
