Bit By Bit

Things are still getting accomplished, not as quickly as we would like but we're getting there. He can't work on things every night as he tires easily these days. But an hour here and there works.

Kitchen vinyl being pulled up. This was a Saturday evening.

Cement board being laid Monday. Was a joy moving that fridge around and the stove out to the dining room I tell you lol. NOT
The new deck room is coming along.
Insulation going in.

Some of the sights on the drive with the grand.

Slowly But Surely

Slow going but the new addition is getting finished.

Next year will be the siding.

It will be mostly inside work now until next year. This will have to be it for the outside until we can put siding on it.

Grand was up visiting while her mom worked.
Oh pooh, I'm not afraid of you.

Trying To Get Some Of the Projects Going

Dear husband and I are working the best we can to get some of the projects going that need to be finished before the snow flies again. We have had interruptions of dh's and surgery, then both of us getting sick and now dh will have radiation treatments for 28 days.

Putting new Ol Henry seal on the coop.

We did have with help from a daughter, and two sons on different days and managed to get the deck room up and have the outside of it mostly finished and ready to have the insulation put in and the flooring down.

Windows and door cut out.

July And Oh My

Well dh did manage to get most of the materials needed to build the room around the deck and the lean-to on the front of the barn. A few items still needed and a window didn't come in.

The load shifted 1/2 mile from the store and went through the trailer front in smashed into the tailgate of the pickup. He strapped it back together with help from a great passing couple who helped to take everything out and put most of it in the back of the truck and the put back together some what trailer. When daughter and I got there son S. showed up and grandson and daughter and helped to load the rest into the little pickup we brought down form home.

We did manage to get some of the things unloaded the next day with use of the tractor. And the neighbor.

There are still things like the shingles to be unloaded and etc. but we're getting there.

When we move dirt around we find some interesting things.

Look down in the creek bed.
