Back to easier chores

The butchering of the Xrock meat birds is done and over with. We had ours and the neighbors. Some of the process.

The pen is cleaned and the turkeys installed.

We can see the end, of fence work that is.

The last part of the new fence that had to go up is being finished. A tree had to be gotten out of the way first and now the way is clear for the fence.

Fencing equipment.

Our friends mules are here enjoying the pastures and they just love to run in the upper field. They will be in the lower field maybe today when the fence is finished. They run up to the gate and have to stop right now and look at us like come on we used to run over there!

The farm truck is back on 4 wheels, Yay!

Lilacs Are A Blooming

Our lilac bushes finally bloomed this week. They smell wonderful.

The apple tree bloomed as well.

Looks like it is time to cut the rhubarb for the first time as well.

The truck is still awaiting some parts that had to be ordered. This was a couple days ago.

Today was another fence days, a lot of it in the rain.

Cracked Rotor

Well the 4 wheel drive farm truck has a cracked rotor. Ba humbug.

So hubby and grandson C decided we might as well replace the seals as well as the rotor and all we wanted to do is change the brakes.
