Fall Is Here and Nosy Turkeys

Well the potatoes are all dug up, the garden is all done, what we had of one this year anyway.
One of the turkeys got nosy and was looking in on us.
Wood rack is all filled and ready.

Grandson Xander had tubes put in his ears and his adenoids out today, he is 4. He is home and recovering.

Kay was wearing a dress made out of a blanket when she came over the other day. She was also trying on makeup lol.

Trying to get some projects finished to give out to grand girls.

Don't forget to stock up on sewing needs.
I found that through the past 2 or 3 years I have gone through a lot and needed to pick up more ribbon, rick rack, white thread etc.

  1. Definitely know about the sewing and craft supplies. Right when I needed it I found the eye of my last darning needle was broken. I use the "fishing line" thread quite a bit for different things that need heavy duty and/or invisible repair and am down to my last bobbin of it. And for some reason the cap on my last bottle of craft glue didn't seal well and it is way too thick for the project I need it for. That and a couple of extra packages of pins and needles got added to the shopping list for today. Sigh. How come that list never gets shorter? Only longer?

  2. I know, I went to use our shoe goo type stuff and found the cap wasn't on it. I went through my material and wouldn't you know I didn't have the colors I needed and so I had to wait until a sale was on to pick them up.
