Week 20

New 51 Week Storage Ideas Week Twenty

This is for two (2) people so buy according to your family’s size.

Non-food list:

Trash bags large 2 boxes
Laundry detergent 1 or 2 boxes of powdered or liquid
Cleanser 2 containers

Food list:


(Don’t forget you need a treat to lift your spirits in trying times.)

Chocolate chips 8 bags
Popcorn 5 pounds minimum (this can also be ground for cornmeal for those who don’t care for popcorn)
Vanilla 2 bottles liquid or powdered
Brown sugar 5 pounds minimum more if you use more



Recipes:


Scottish Shortbread
1-¼ cups flour
3 tablespoons sugar
½ cup butter or margarine
Combine and mix well. It will be like crumb. Knead it until smooth, stick in a pie plate and prick dough deeply in like pie cut shapes. Bake 300 deg. 40 minutes.

 
Blonde Brownies
2 c. flour
1 teasp. baking powder
¼ tsp. baking soda
½ teasp. salt
Mix together then add:
½ c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs beaten
2 teasp. vanilla
1 bag chocolate chips
Melt butter and brown sugar together add egg and vanilla. Then add to dry ingredients mix. Grease 13x9 cake pan; pour in batter sprinkle coco chips on top. Bake 350 degrees 18 to 20 minutes.

We started getting one of enclosesures up around one of the lean-tos, mowing do be done and canning and drying.

Here is 1 gallon of strawberries the scraps off of them I made preserves with. I added one apple to make more.




Different herbs Yarrow, oregano, feverfew, spearmint, peppermint etc.
